It has been confirmed that the person struck yesterday morning on the Harry Morgan Bridge was killed in the collision.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident occurred at 4:27 a.m. when 45-year-old James Keithley of Longview was heading westbound in a semi-truck and struck 31-year-old Lulu Starheart of Longview at milepost 9. She was then hit by a 2002 Honda Accord driven by Sean McVicker of Kalama and a 2016 Ram van driven by 76-year-old Thomas Locke of Vancouver.

Starheart was declared dead at the scene. The roadway remained closed until just before 8 a.m. while troopers conducted their investigation.

Authorities say Starheart had been trying to cross the roadway when she was struck. Drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash, and none of the drivers were injured.
