March 18, 2025Warren Dean Mako: June 8, 1942 – March 2, 2025
KELSO- Warren Dean Mako also known as Dino. Warren was born in Shelton Washington on June 8,1942 and passed away on March 2, 2025.
Warren is survived by his son Dean, brother Frank, grandson Maverick, Maverick’s mom Brittney, nephew’s Frank Jr Mako, and Bryan Mako, niece’s Kristine Mako and Suzanne Randol. Warren was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn Voris in 1998, his wife Donna in 2006 and daughter Laura in 2006.
Warren was a veteran who served in the Navy for 3 years 2 months and 22 days, he was very proud of that.
Warren was a man of many hobbies, hardworking and a family man. He loved to paint whether it was a house, deck or inside, he enjoyed doing it. He started at a young age and continued till couldn’t. He loved fishing and crabbing that brought him joy as he was always with his son. He played shuffleboard all over the state and won many awards, he also enjoyed his time with his buddies playing poker. If he wasn’t doing that, he was spending time with his family. Warren was a loving man who always had a joke and a smile.
The family will be holding a potluck celebration of life for him at the Kelso Eagles on April 6th at 3pm, followed by a poker tournament at 5:30pm in his honor, please come help the family celebrate this amazing man.
