A portion of Alabama Street is going to be shut down next week as the City of Longview Utilities Department conducts some sewer repairs.

The roadway in the Highlands will be closed between 25th and 26th avenues. This means drivers will be forced to take a detour through Beech Street. The work is scheduled to run intermittently from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, starting Monday and continuing through Thursday the 27th.
