As a reminder, today is Juneteenth, a nationally recognized holiday that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. Because of this, most federal, state, and local government buildings are closed today. This includes the Lower Columbia College campus and police stations. However, officers are still patrolling and 911 services are available 24/7.
