If you see smoke in the area of Ferncrest Road to the west of Longview tomorrow, don’t be alarmed; Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue will be doing a training burn at a donated structure.
The training is scheduled to go from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. These training burns help give firefighters experience in controlled danger before facing real emergencies.
