If you were affected by the washout on Barnes Drive in Castle Rock back in December, there’s good news: the roadway reopened yesterday.

The section in the 8700 block, just off the freeway exit near the Toutle River RV Resort, had been fully closed. The Cowlitz County Department of Public Works says a contractor completed repairs after work began last week.
