LongCon is happening at the Longview Public Library Saturday from 10am to 5pm. It’s a family friendly Mini-Con event to celebrate comics, graphic novels, and related art with a full day of engaging activities for fans of all ages.

Author Rosemary Reynolds will do a reading of her new book Trapped In The System at The Rainier Historical Museum and Library THIS Saturday 1pm. 106 W B Street Rainier, Or. The book chronicles the brutal murder of police chief Ralph Painter  Following the reading, a limited number of books will be for sale in the library.  Rosemary will sign books including those that have been pre-purchased on Amazon.

Enjoy a delicious crab dinner while supporting local homeless dogs, cats and pets living in low-income homes. It’s Claws for Paws, back at the Cowlitz County Event Center on Saturday at 4:30pm.
