There were no ballots sent out in Cowlitz County for Tuesday’s special election, but to the north, there were. The Winlock School District had its Educational Programs and Operations Replacement Levy on the ballot, and the result is as close as it can get.

Currently, the levy is failing by just two votes, 668 to 669. There is an unknown number of ballots still outstanding, and if the margin remains this narrow, a recount can be expected.
