A new area for your dog to play will soon be available along the Columbia River. The Port of Longview says it is currently constructing a new dog park at Willow Grove Park as part of its Comprehensive Park Plan. The park will be fenced and span 2.1 acres, including a 0.3-acre area for small dogs only. The approved budget for the park is $100,000. The port says to stay tuned for an official opening date.
