March 25, 2025Be ready for possible delays around Lake Sacajawea today, as routine bridge inspections are scheduled to take place. During the work, traffic control measures will be in place to protect the work zone and ensure the safety of workers and the traveling public.
The Washington Way Bridge will be impacted first, with inspections taking place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. During this time, the sidewalk, trail, and bike lanes will all be closed. Then, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the 20th Avenue Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic. A detour will be in place, and pedestrians will have access to one sidewalk.
