Man Rescued After Falling from Cliff East of Yacolt—Klog 100.7 News

A man was rescued Sunday night after falling down a 50-foot cliff near a remote waterfall to the east of Yacolt.
Clark County Fire District 13 and several other agencies responded after an initial call around 11:30 p.m. Upon arrival, crews met the caller, who led them to the location where the man had fallen.

First responders discovered the man injured at the base of the cliff near Big Creek waterfall and called for additional resources. While waiting for the extra help, a hasty rescue team was deployed to navigate down and reach the man. There, they were able to provide him with medical care until the technical rope rescue team could safely bring him up the cliff.

When additional help arrived, they were able to safely take him up. He was then transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
