Over 2,000 customers were without power this morning in the West Kelso and Longview areas. The outage was reported by the PUD around 6:30 a.m., and power began to be restored around 7:20 a.m.
According to Alice Dietz with the PUD, the outage was caused by a cat that got into a substation.
