A Book, Basket, and Bake Sale is happening at the Kalama Public Library Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
Terron Brooks, who led as Simba in The Lion King on Broadway is coming to the Columbia Theatre on February 7th at 7:30pm to perform reinterpretations of your favorite classic and contemporary Broadway songs.
Enjoy an evening of stand-up comedy at the Kelso Theater Pub. Every First Friday of Every Month from 9:00 – 11:00 PM, Doors open at 8 PM, this is a 21+ event.
Saturday:
Join the Sons of Norway for breakfast at the Breidablik Lodge in Kelso on Saturday from 8:30am-10:30am. They will have Norwegian waffles, swedish pancakes, scambled eggs, baked ham, ligonberry jam, syrup, coffee, tea, and juice. Adults: $12, kids ages 8 and under: $6.
The Year round, the Fair Flea Market is the 2nd Saturday of every month, 9-3 in the Youth Building at the Wahkiakum County Fairgrounds
The Marine Corps Vets are inviting all Marine Vets to their monthly brunch and meeting on the 2nd Saturday of each month at Fei’s Carriage starting at 9am. All Marines are welcome.
The Inauguration Ceremony for the Hilander Hall of Fame Inductees will be Saturday, 5-7pm at the Kelso High School Commons, with a Celebration Reception to follow at Ashtown Brewing. Everyone is invited to both events.
(SOLD OUT) The Knights of Columbus has a giant Crab and Chicken Feed on Saturday at the St. Rose Parish Center. It’s an auction, prizes, and a delicious dinner of fresh crab, over roasted chicken, beans, slaw and cheese bread. Doors at 5pm, dinner at 6:30pm. Get your tickets at the St. Rose Parish Center office at 701 26th Ave.
The Seven Minute Story Slam at Stageworks Northwest on Saturday at 7pm. Come in, tell everyone a story about an “object of desire” within the time limit. Your story must be true, on theme, and have stakes of some kind. Come participate yourself, or watch from the audience. Admission by donation.
Sunday:
The Longview Eagles Annual SOUP-OR-BOWL Cook-Off brings us the Soup, Stew, Chili, and Chowder contest on Sunday starting at 3pm. Those competing can prep their food ahead of time, but it must be cooked at the Eagles. The winner will be announced during the big game!
