May 29, 2025One person was injured in a four-vehicle crash on I-5 in Castle Rock this morning.
As reported by the Washington State Patrol (WSP), at about 5:50am southbound at milepost 48, a Ram 1500 driven by 45-year-old Ryan Guerini of Stevenson drifted into the right shoulder and struck a light pole, knocking it to the road. A semi driven by 61-year-old Herbert Haubrick of Montesano swerved to avoid the pole and struck a semi driven by 25-year-old Isse Ali of Portland. Ali then swerved and hit a Hyundai Tucson driven by 45-year-old Adam Ayre of Chehalis.
Guerini was transported to St. John for his injuries, the severity of which is unknown. Although all vehicles involved were damaged, no other injuries were reported.
Each driver was wearing their seatbelts, drugs or alcohol were not involved. The WSP stated the cause of the crash was wheels off the roadway.
