The Silver Alert issued yesterday for a missing elderly Winlock man has been canceled.

The Washington State Patrol put out the alert last evening for Louis Toms after he was last seen in Chehalis around 3:10 p.m. He was reportedly driving a Honda CRV and was believed to be unable to return home without assistance.

Authorities have not said how he was found, but the alert was canceled just after midnight.
