April 8, 2025(Castle Rock, WA) – Last Friday a blue Dodge Dart sedan was observed driving recklessly and fast along Mount St. Helens Way in Castle Rock. A Castle Rock policeman tried to stop the car on the Spirit Lake Highway, but lost sight of the vehicle in the Studebaker area. Reports were the vehicle was going about 100 miles per hour.
The CRPD officer was joined by the Washington State Patrol and a WA Fish and Wildlife officer in search of the suspect vehicle. Receiving information from some citizens, they found the vehicle and the drive at a home in the 300 block of Studebaker Spur #2.
Castle Rock police captain Jeff Gann says the driver, Dylan House, 23, of Castle Rock was taken into custody without incident. House was booked for reckless driving and was also issued a citation for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
