Nicholas Marty of Winlock captured the men’s overall title at Sunday’s Rainier to Longview Bridge Run 10K.

Marty crossed the finish line in 35 minutes and 20 seconds. The 23-year-old also won last year’s event.

Adriane Jones of Portland was the top women’s finisher with a time of 47 minutes and 1 second.

A total of 617 runners participated in the race, which began in downtown Rainier, crossed the Lewis and Clark Bridge, traveled through Longview, and finished at Martin’s Dock on Lake Sacajawea.

Race organizers say the event continues to grow each year.

And a special shoutout to Ron Randolph of Portland, who beat me—and everyone else who didn’t participate.
