An investigation is ongoing into the disappearance of a Longview man after his vehicle was found abandoned and burned in a remote area near Randle.

57-year-old Davis Long was reported missing on March 12th. He is a truck driver for Maersk in Portland and reportedly never showed up for work after leaving his home around 4 a.m. on the 12th.

Drones and K-9 units were used to search the area where Long’s vehicle, a 2015 silver Kia Forte, was found, but there were no leads. He is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 230 pounds. When he was last seen, he was wearing a long-sleeved navy blue “Maersk” polo shirt and blue jeans.
