Yesterday, the Longview Fire Department named their Firefighter of the Year and is congratulating Battalion Chief Eric Koreis with the honor. The department says that Koreis’s tireless work, leadership, and commitment to the community exemplify the core values of the profession.
They also announced the recipients of the Unit Citation Award: firefighters Scott Kerker, Ben Dobrinski, and Austin Wyman. Firefighter Jim Trussell has received the Above and Beyond Award.
