Lower Columbia College has released a statement saying that Tuesday’s decision to place President Matt Seimears on administrative leave is not related to the earlier decision by the college administration to place LCC Vice President of Foundation, HR & Legal Affairs Kendra Sprague on leave.

LCC Information Officer Wendy Hall says the college asks the public to disregard any speculative attempts to connect the two unrelated situations.
