There was a DUI crash last night right near Vandercook Park in a neighborhood.

Longview Police responded after reports that a vehicle crashed into a residence and then fled the area of 19th Avenue and Larch Street. When officers arrived on the scene, they located the vehicle just down the block.

Officers say that the driver actually only hit a parked vehicle that came very close to going into the home. No one was injured.

The suspect driver, 45-year-old Jeffrey Law of Longview, was arrested and booked for DUI, Hit & Run, and Driving with a Suspended License. His blood alcohol content was measured by a breathalyzer at .178, over double the legal limit.
