A suspected drug dealer was arrested by the Longview Police Department Street Crime Team last week.

Longview Police Captain Brandon McNew says that last Friday, detectives executed a narcotics search warrant at a home located at 516 16th Avenue. Forty-seven-year-old Arnold Jones was arrested during the operation.

Detectives found fentanyl and methamphetamine, along with packaging materials, cash, and other items commonly associated with drug sales at the home. Jones was also found to be in possession of a stolen handgun.

He was transported to the Cowlitz County Jail without incident and has been charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, and possession of a stolen firearm.
