December 10, 2025One election just ended, and now another is right around the corner. The Cowlitz County Auditor is preparing for the February 10th Special Election, part of which includes the “For” and “Against” statements for each ballot proposition to be used in the voters’ guide.
The auditor’s office says they are currently looking for interested people to serve on the “Against” committee for the Kalama School District Replacement Educational Programs and Operations Levy. Members of that committee will be responsible for preparing a statement for the voters’ guide advocating for rejection of the proposition.
To be on the committee, you must live within the district boundaries. To serve, contact the Elections Office by 5 p.m. next Tuesday either by email at elections@cowlitzwa.gov, by phone at (360) 577-3005, or in person at the Elections Office.
