A group of protesters gathered yesterday afternoon at the Longview Civic Circle ahead of Donald Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress. Around 100 people gathered to protest against the Trump administration.

There were a variety of signs and American flags. The protesters’ signs varied on different issues; they included slogans such as “Save Ukraine,” “Protect Social Security,” “No Dictator,” “No Fascism,” “Anti-Trump,” “USA,” and more.

Later in the evening, during Trump’s speech, there was another protest in downtown Kalama. That protest expressed similar sentiment, with many people holding signs calling for the deportation of Elon Musk.
