Longtime local restaurateur Bob Paul passed away Friday, at the age of 84. For more than 40 years, Paul owned, managed, and cooked at several well-known local restaurants, including Hillmans and The Fireside Café. He also owned Bob Paul’s Café, with locations in Kalama, Grays River, and most recently on 15th Avenue in Longview, before retiring. Paul was the younger brother of Henri Paul, the longtime owner of Henri’s Restaurant, who passed away in 2006. He was preceded in death by his son, David, and is survived by his wife, Bev, and daughters, Caroline and Angela.
