A Mossyrock man was killed Sunday afternoon after crashing his motorcycle on I-5 near Woodland.

The Washington State Patrol has yet to publicly identify the 60-year-old man involved. Troopers say he was traveling southbound on a BMW motorcycle around 1:25 p.m. near Exit 22, by the Walmart. He reportedly lost control of the bike and struck the cable barrier, causing him to be ejected and declared dead at the scene.

As of now, it is not known why he lost control. However, he is not suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
