The Veterans Stand Down and Expo is Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cowlitz County Events Center. You’ll find free services just for veterans, including employment help, housing opportunities, medical, dental, and counseling services, financial training, surplus giveaways, VA assistance, and even free haircuts.
The Knights of Columbus are doing their Hamburger Feeds before all the home Kelso football games at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. All proceeds will go to the Clothes for Kids Fund.
See The Women of Lockerbie at the Love Street Playhouse in Woodland: weekends from October 2nd to 25th. Evening and matinee options. It’s a fictional drama set seven years after the 1988 terrorist bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland.
