April 18, 2025On Wednesday evening, two separate warrant arrests were made by the Castle Rock Police Department.
Captain Jeff Gann reports that the first arrest occurred around 7:15 p.m., when an officer observed 48-year-old Thomas Miller of Castle Rock near the Gateway Shell station. Miller was known to have an active warrant. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Cowlitz County Jail on an outstanding warrant for assault.
The second arrest happened around 8:50 p.m. An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Roake Avenue SE, off Cowlitz Street East, for a report of an unwanted subject. The officer contacted 22-year-old Dabe Alvarez Price of Castle Rock, who was found to have a warrant out of Lewis County for violation of a domestic violence protection order. Alvarez Price was taken into custody and transferred to Lewis County for booking.
This incident was separate from the crash Wednesday morning on I-5 near Winlock, which resulted in Alvarez Price being hospitalized.
