The St. Helens School District Superintendent, who has been on leave since November, has officially resigned.
Scot Stockwell resigned on Wednesday following months of investigation into a past sex abuse case involving two teachers at the high school.

The high school principal at the time, Katy Wagner, was also placed on leave and has since been charged with failure to report. Stockwell has not been charged with any crime at this time, but both he and Wagner are currently under investigation by the Oregon Department of Human Services for failure to report.
