A suspect has been taken into custody after a DUI crash yesterday morning near Memorial Park in Longview.
The accident was reported to Cowlitz 911 around 9:20 a.m. off the portion of Mt. Solo Road that is part of SR 432, not far from Mt. Solo Middle School. Arriving officers reported that the vehicle was in the ditch and had struck a power pole, which caused some people in the area to lose power.
Within just a few minutes, the male driver was taken into custody for driving under the influence. It was also reported that he had a child in the vehicle with him. We are awaiting further details on this crash from the Washington State Patrol’s office.
