The City of Longview has launched what they are calling the “Transparency Center,” an area on their website where citizens can easily access and explore city financial data.

The Transparency Center provides budget and actual financial data from 2018 to 2024, as well as budget information for this year and next. Starting this year, it will also show actual expenditures and revenues, updated monthly following the close of each month. Budgeted amounts will be updated only when officially amended by ordinance.

Finance Director Lisa Wolff said, “We want residents to see how their tax dollars are being used. The Transparency Center gives our community access to financial data in an easy-to-use and understandable format, helping build trust and inform decision-making.”
