During last night’s Kelso City Council meeting, the council discussed finalizing its goals for this year.

These goals were developed during a special workshop last month, which served as the council’s annual retreat.

Three main goals were identified. The first is to maintain reliable public infrastructure systems that support economic growth and enhance the community’s quality of life. The second is to promote community renewal and economic development that provide sustainable resources for public services and facilities. The third is to ensure consistent, effective delivery of city services that meet or exceed standards of professionalism and accountability.
