Kalama Commercial Fire Leads to Life Flight—Klog 100.7 News

A commercial fire this morning in Kalama resulted in a life flight. The fire was first reported at a business along the Kalama Waterfront in the 2300 block of Hendrickson Drive, at the Ol Kalama Glass manufacturing facility, around 5:47 a.m.

By the time firefighters arrived on the scene, the fire had already been extinguished. However, one person sustained an injury from glass shards and required medical attention. It was reported that the glass had entered the person’s eyes, causing blurry vision.

By around 6:15 a.m., Life Flight was requested, and the victim was transported from Haydu Park by Life Flight.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
