    Carol Hattrick Danker: April 27, 1951 — February 18, 2025

    CATHLAMET- Carol (Hattrick) Danker, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, at the age of 73. She was born on April 27, 1951, to Jack and Delores Hattrick. Carol lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and devotion to those she loved.

    Carol was a graduate of Wahkiakum High School class of 1969. After graduation, Carol attended the Dental Assistant Academy in San Francisco. After several years as a dental assistant, she began dedicating the next 34 years to banking in Cathlamet, where she made lasting connections with customers and friends. She married the love of her life, Tony Danker, in 1970, and together they built a beautiful family, raising their sons, Michael (wife Nikki) and Nicholas (fiancé Tiffanie). Carol’s greatest joy was her grandchildren, Christopher, Bailey and Nathaniel and step-grandchildren Cassiena and Chase.

    Carol was a member of the Kiwanis Club and was always willing to lend a hand to help. She had a desire to help others and took great pride in her community. Her warmth, compassion, and selflessness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

    She is survived by her loving family Gail, Tammy and husband Tony of 55 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jim (wife Judy), and her sister Michele.

    A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on March 15, 2025, at 1:00 at the Julius A. Wendt Elementary School in Cathlamet, following a private gravesite burial.

    Carol’s legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
