Bus service between Longview and Vancouver will continue for at least another six months.

During a meeting earlier this month, the Cowlitz Transit Authority approved a new RiverCities Transit commuter service on I-5 for weekdays, set to begin in June. This comes after the Lower Columbia CAP announced plans to discontinue the same service in June.

The continuation of the service is made possible by funding expected from the Washington House Transportation Budget, with hopes that the funding will be extended for an additional two years.
