It has now been confirmed that we will see the two candidates in the 3rd Congressional District race face off in at least two televised debates.

John Braun, the Republican challenger, has agreed to an October 7th debate on KOIN 6 and an October 13th debate on KATU. His opponent, incumbent Democrat Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, had already previously announced that she would be participating in both debates.

As of now, these are the only two debates that have been confirmed. Previously, Andre Stepankowsky of the Cowlitz Civil Dialogue Group said they were in talks with the candidates regarding a debate at Lower Columbia College, but that has yet to be confirmed.
