Barbara (Waldron) Hudson: August 9, 1951 – September 18, 2026

ST. HELENS- Barbara was born August 9, 1951, at the old hospital on 4th street in St. Helens, Oregon.  She attended school in St. Helens and graduated from St. Helens Senior High School in 1969.  Barb was a National Honor Society member.  While in high school she served as class secretary twice and was Homecoming Queen.  After graduation there was a short stint at business school and then into the workforce.  Barb worked for the St. Helens School District for most of her working career except for brief stints with Crown Zellerbach and Farm Home Administration.  A well-earned retirement after 28 years of service came in 2006.  Barb took up quilting and enjoyed cooking for family and friends.  The beaches at Seaside and Long Beach were favorite places along with Central Oregon.
 
Barb married Gary Hudson in 1971.  They celebrated their 55th Anniversary in September of this year.  Barbara is survived by her husband and best friend Gary, her son Aaron (Jennifer) Hudson and daughter Courtney (Ed) Leader.  Grandsons Cole and Nicholas Leader and granddaughters, Makenzie and Kaitlyn Hudson.  She is also survived by her brother Michael W. Waldron.  She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Nate and Beth Waldron.
 
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 2:00 PM, at the Best Western Conference Room, 585 S. Columbia River Hwy, St. Helens, Oregon.
