The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has confirmed eight more days of razor clam digging on coastal beaches.
The digging runs from this Saturday through May 3. Long Beach will be open for all eight days of digging.
Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife recreational razor clam manager Bryce Blumenthal says that people driving out on the beach need to be cautious:
“We’re starting to see a lot of soft sand accumulating on beaches, increasing the likelihood of getting your vehicle stuck. Be careful when driving on and off the beach approaches, and stay below the high tide line.”
