Washington’s minimum wage will increase to $17.73 an hour starting on January 1st, 2027, according to the Washington Department of Labor and Industries.
That’s a 60-cent increase from the current $17.13 minimum wage.
The minimum wage for 14- and 15-year-old workers will increase to $15.07 an hour.
L&I says the minimum wage is adjusted each year based on inflation using the federal Consumer Price Index. The increase keeps Washington State with one of the highest state minimum wages in the nation.
