March 6, 2025Kelso Woman Charged After DUI Crash—Klog 100.7 News
March 6, 2025A Toledo woman faces an attempted murder charge after allegedly running over a pedestrian with her SUV in Lewis County early Tuesday morning, just after midnight.
According to The Chronicle, 24-year-old Angelina Ramirez was driving an SUV when she became involved in a heated argument with a woman walking her dog south of Winlock. The victim claims she had a history of issues with the vehicle’s passenger and said the pair were in the area searching for her boyfriend.
As the dispute escalated, Ramirez told authorities that the victim threw a rock at her vehicle and approached it while telling the passenger to “just hit her.” Shortly after, the victim alleges that Ramirez deliberately accelerated and struck her with the SUV.
A nearby homeowner reported hearing a commotion and then saw a different vehicle—not the SUV—quickly drive away. A group of bystanders nearby managed to lift the SUV off the victim, who was then rushed to PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center for treatment of several injuries.
Following an investigation, Ramirez was arrested and charged. Her bail has been set at $750,000.
