March 18, 2025The Washington State Patrol’s Office has provided further details on the semi-trailer that fell onto a driver Sunday evening on the Harry Morgan Bridge along Tennant Way.
Lieutenant Ryan Tanner reports that the driver was a male, but he was not able to provide the man’s name or current condition as of yet.
He says that the investigation is ongoing, but it appears the driver had pulled over on the shoulder to check an issue with his trailer. He did not properly set the brake, causing the trailer to roll onto him and resulting in significant injuries.
The man was taken to St. John Medical Center and lifeflighted with full trauma.
