April 21, 2025A pedestrian was hit early yesterday morning on Highway 12, just off of I-5.
Emergency crews arrived at 4:08 a.m. and found 29-year-old Daniel Adams injured and lying on the ground. He was taken to Tacoma General Hospital with unknown injuries.
According to the Washington State Patrol report, Adams had been standing in the eastbound lane at milepost 68, not far from Marys Corner. Sixty-five-year-old Robert Stewart was driving a 2021 Toyota Tacoma eastbound when he encountered Adams. Stewart swerved in an attempt to avoid him but clipped him with his right mirror.
