Mike Randall Service on Saturday—Klog 100.7 News

Family and friends have spent the past three months coping with the death of Mike Randall. Randall passed away last December, leaving a large void in the community. A celebration of his life will take place Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Cowlitz County Events Center in Longview.

It’s fitting that the remembrance will be held at the Events Center, where he served as director for 15 years prior to his retirement. His work for Cowlitz County followed a 30-year career with Pepsi through Corwin Beverage.

A Castle Rock native, Mike was actively involved in the community, especially enjoying coaching his son’s youth baseball and basketball teams. He was also an avid boater, including fishing, and played slow-pitch softball for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons Brad and Andy; two granddaughters; and many siblings and friends in the community.
