A person was hospitalized last evening after a head-on collision at the intersection of 15th Avenue and Washington Way. The crash was first reported around 8:50 p.m., right next to Papa Pete’s Pizza.

Responding personnel reported that two vehicles were involved and that there was significant damage. One person was confirmed to be injured and was taken by ambulance to PeaceHealth Medical Center.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
