Castle Rock Motorcycle Police Pursuit—Klog 100.7 News

A Kelso motorcyclist was arrested last week after allegedly attempting to flee from a Castle Rock Police officer.

Corporal Jeff Gann reports that around 3:25 p.m. on Wednesday, the officer attempted to stop 45-year-old Michael Jones for riding recklessly. While fleeing, Jones allegedly failed to yield, increased speed, and continued riding recklessly. The officer lost sight of the bike for a short time, and Jones attempted to hide by leaving the bike at the Castle Rock McDonald’s and entering a nearby restaurant.

Thanks to observations from nearby citizens, Jones was located and taken into custody. He has been charged with felony eluding and reckless driving.
