April 4, 2025If you live in the area of Maple Street or Vandercook Way in Longview, be prepared for a possible water service interruption this Sunday.
The City of Longview Utility Department will be performing water system maintenance, including installing valves and a fire hydrant. The work will take place from the 1500–1700 block of Maple Street to the 1000 block of Vandercook Way, an area that is primarily commercial.
Work is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 8 p.m. It is recommended that you keep water on hand during this time for emergency purposes. Additionally, it is advised to turn off water heaters at the circuit breaker, disable irrigation timers, and limit toilet use or store extra water for flushing.
