Some people in West Longview were without power Sunday evening after a vehicle reportedly went off the roadway and hit a power pole.

Lights and sirens were heard blaring down Ocean Beach Highway around 7:35 p.m. When units arrived on the scene at the intersection of Ocean Beach Highway and Coal Creek Road, they reported that power was out in the area. They also reported that the occupants of the vehicle were seen fleeing the scene.

Coal Creek Road was shut down while PUD crews worked to restore power. As of now, it is not known what led to the crash or if anyone involved was injured.
