Expect delays on State Route 506 near the Cowlitz-Lewis County line this week and next week as crews trim trees along power lines.

The Washington State Department of Transportation and Cowlitz PUD will have alternating single-lane traffic between Fourth Street and Wildwood Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays through July 23rd.

Flaggers will direct traffic, and delays of up to 20 minutes are expected. The work is being done to help prevent power outages and reduce wildfire risk.
