A driver was hospitalized following a serious single-car accident yesterday morning on I-5 northbound near Ridgefield.

Clark County Fire District 6 reported that the crash occurred just south of the Fairgrounds exit. A Toyota Tundra tore through 30 yards of guardrail before coming to rest on its side.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
