Semi vs. Motorcycle Accident on Industrial Way—Klog 100.7 News

A portion of Industrial Way was shut down Friday after a crash involving a semi-truck and a motorcycle. First responders were on the scene near Porky’s Public House and Brewery just before noon.

It was reported that the rider and their passenger were down on the roadway, and it was confirmed to be an injury accident. The roadway was closed, and traffic was rerouted at California Way, according to a post from the Washington State Department of Transportation’s Twitter account.

Within minutes, the male rider and his female passenger were taken to St. John Medical Center with modified trauma injuries. The roadway reopened around 1:20 p.m.

The crash occurred after officers say they were attempting to pull the rider over for an arrest warrant. The man reportedly did not stop when signaled, which led to him driving on the wrong side of the street. The crash happened when the semi turned onto Industrial Way from International Way.
